Paradise!!! A review of Fihalhohi Tourist Resort
Me and my boyfriend stayed at Fihalhohi 2nd july-17th. You wont be dissappointed. Its amazing. We stayed in the comfort room which is the middle room and was lovely. we booked with first choice and am still shocked they class fihal as a 3* resort!! The views are amazing, sea life and animals fab. Take your own snorkle gear and fins so you dont have to buy them. Please also do diving if you never have. We regretted not doing it so much. Open water qualification is just over £200 which is great and what a place to do it. Also make sure you do night snorkling. its very scary at 1st but you see all the fish sleeping, massive eels and even sharks out hunting. its fab!! This isnt an action holiday so if you want to chill out and see the amazing fish, its for you. We saw sharks, eels, lion fish, rays, squid, parrot fish and there is a turtle that lives in the house reef. The staff are fab and you must tip them as they go out of there way to help you and a few days in theyl know you and your room number. drinks and food are so cheap. we spent just over £500 for two weeks and drank every night and did excursions. The food is good although samey at times. Its not excellent but theres lots of choice. pancakes, waffles and crossonits in the morning and fish and curry in the evenings. i would recommend having breakfast at the surf cafe as you get tea, coffee, juice, eggs, toast and a big basket of cakes and bread for about £3!! Dont bother with excursions as they are rubbish. Especially the island hopping. This trip only showed us how amazing our island is. although shopping is good on this trip i wouldnt advise it. we also did sunset fishing but its too long and i didnt catch anything!!!
we would definatly go back and are looking into it already. Dont worry about the weather either. we went in the wet season and still got sun everyday and 40 degree heat so.... This island is perfect and is so rustic and unrunied. Email me if you have any questions. Lesley.email@example.com
