Overpriced But Nice Enough A review of The Inn at Perry Cabin by Orient-Express
I reserved at the last minute when they had only the $720 Master suites left. They indicated I would have a water view, and an array of accoutrements that are part of this sutie. THey also indicated since it was last minute and thye had rooms, they would charge me $450. For this amt I got a very rudimentary suite with a view of the mud flats...it had it spluses. But the lovely clapboard has been turned to aluminum siding, the Lura Ashley fabrics are long gone, and there are rudimentary facilities. Sunday breakfast, including room service, stops at 10am and brunch doesn't start until 12 noon. We called room service at 10:05 to be dinied any food. Basically mit's nice but not int he league with other Orient Experess Hotels and theprice is way too high for whatis simply a very nice large motel with a wonderful waterfront.
