Outstanding service, Exceptionally clean and pleasant! A review of Admiral's Inn
We stayed at The Admiral's Inn for one night on our way farther north on the Maine coast. Victor, the Inn's manager, was a great help via email, then on the phone, very pleasant and accommodating, esp., holding a room (the last room avail in the Inn that Saturday night) while we arranged our other nights farther north as it was a last minute getaway. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted, by Victor, and very pleased with the bright clean and tasteful decor. We were very efficiently checked in, shown around. No waiting around or looking for help. We were soon on our way to the beach, only a ten minute walk from the Inn. The room was very nice, everything brand new and renovated. The Inn was quiet, breezy, refreshing. We used the pool and the hot tub after the beach.
The real outstanding service came when we ran into problems with my car. It wouldn't start, long story short I had to get it towed by Triple A the next morning. We were due to continue north to another inn in Rockland 2 hours away. Well Victor and the owner Ken were fantastic. It was Ken, the owner, who also manages the Inn with Victor, who offered to drive my fiancé & I 20 minutes south to Portsmouth, NH to the only rental car agency open on Sunday. He refused any offer I gave to help even pay for his gasoline. Ken was fantastic, and we got to know him as we drove together to National Car Rental in Portsmouth. What fantastic customer service. These guys are laid back but very efficient, friendly, but not too friendly. Genuine nice people who run a tight ship but are flexible, truly customer-centered people who care about their work.
We highly recommend the Admiral's Inn!
