Out of The Way!!! A review of Four Seasons Hotel Miami
We stay at the Four Seasons freqently in all states, my husband after our last 10 day cruise wanted to try the Four Seasons in Miami. It is a beautiful Hotel as all 4-seasons are, but very much quiet and out of the way. If you want solice and no one to see you with a 9:00 pm bed time this is the place. We arrived on a Sunday and it was oh! so quiet, we had lunch then got a cabanna (no charge) and slept the day away. This is on the seventh floor and beautiful, the pool, the cabanna's, the staff, the outside cafe and the food .
When it was time for dinner the only choice unless you want to cab it is Acqua at the Hotel, so we choose to have a quiet night and ate at the Hotel. The bar was closed so we couldn't have a after dinner drink.
The next day again got up had breakfast and no place to go unless you cab it. We decided to spend the rest of the day in South Beach. (cab cost is about $20 each way without tip), so we shopped Lincoln and did Ocean Ave. at night where the party was happening as always. Cab Total: $50.00 .
The staff was all great 5 stars-outside lunch 5 stars-beds 5 stars-things to do 2 stars-places in hotel to party-1 star. The extra tax charges will add another $50-60 to your room rate, and they charged us a $16.00 fee in the business center to print our boarding passes(come-on)!!!
We also get a credit for Lunch by booking through American Express and they forgot to give it to us. Also the last morning of our stay we woke up sick and then saw there was a humidfier in our room, think someone before us had a bug. In all fareness everyone at the Hotel said that Friday & Saturday it is the place to be so we will give it that and try again on a week end.
