Our stay was very pleasant. A review of Courtyard Miami Coconut Grove
My group consisted of 11 family members and we all enjoyed the service and rooms. We paid $99 per night. We were greeted at the hotel with a warm chololate chip cookie for each guest. After a long day of flight, that cookie really hit the spot. The rooms were average size with good closet space. The room was clean and renovated. The bathroom was not big but enough for all of my things. There was also counter space right outside the bathroom door. The view from my room was of next door construction as well as ocean view. The noise from the construction wasn't bad. The pool was average size but very clean. My husband and my 3 children had fun swimming at night. The pool closes at 10:00 p.m. My entire family scored for breakfast!!! We were given a voucher every morning for free buffet breakfast or the american breakfast. Even though the voucher only stated it was good for 1 guest, the front desk gave us the voucher to include every guest in each room. Our waitress was great and made conversation with us. The valet was $18 a day but it looks like every hotel had a similar price. The valet guys were also great. They were polite and gave us shortcuts around town. As for the location, it was great! We were close to the Everglades, Downtown or the beach. We were walking distance from the CoCoWalk. Many restaurants are located there as well as live music on the weekends. In my opinion, the Cocowalk is better than Miami Beach's Collins Avenue. Collins Avenue is run down, not family oriented and loud. Some of the people there are shady looking. Even if it was just my husband and myself I still wouldn't stay near Collins.
My family and I would definitely stay at the Doubletree again.
