Our new favorite getaway A review of Kalaloch Lodge
We just returned from a mid-week stay - our first visit to Kalaloch (say Clay-lock).
The setting is amazing - miles of wide ocean beaches with sea stacks and rocks off shore - huge driftwood logs pushed up against the bluffs - thousands of acres of green forest - clear running streams and rivers - the nearest town 35 miles to the north.
No TV reception; you have to drive several miles north or south for cell phone reception - i.e., my idea of heaven!
Comfortable cabins, the main lodge and the SeaCrest Lodge (where we stayed); very good food with a wait staff that quickly made you feel welcome - part of the family. For truly, there is a family feel to the place.
We recommend very highly.
