Our Hawaii Home A review of Sea Village Resort
We are heading back to Kona in a few days and will be staying at the Sea Village for the third time. Our family loves this place! The condos are roomy and have great ocean views - I would recommend staying in buildings 1,3 or 4 since they are on the water. We really like unit #1205 which faces north towards Kona town - there is a magnificent view from the balcony at night. This unit is also slightly larger than the others (great for families with kids). There is a large grassy barbecue area in the middle of buildings 1-3 that is great for family get-togethers (we usually come to Hawaii with other family members and on one visit had 8 kids running around so the play area was key!). The pool area is ocean front and is surrounded by outdoor carpeting and that is great for toddlers who always seem to be running and falling. Only minus is that you must drive to get to Kona town, but we have never had a problem parking and the drive is only 5 minutes. Last but not least - rates at the Sea Village are very reasonable.
