Only seems to cater to corporations A review of Eaglewood Resort & Spa Chicago
I was quoted $119/room over the phone and provided a list of amenities that included use of the bowling lanes (individual or private parties), spa, health club and an indoor pool. The following day I went to the resort to make the reservations for our party. People were courteous and friendly, providing me a better rate of $59/room. I was offered the use of a banquet room for no additional cost. All of this was wonderful until I was informed that the bowling alley can only be used by corporations and the pool would not be available. Although not having use of the bowling alley would have been disappointing, it was not having use of the pool that led me to move our group to another hotel.
It appeared to me that the resort only was interested in business from corporations and not the general public.
