Okay for a one-night stay to catch an early flight A review of Days Inn JFK Airport
The room was VERY TINY for two adults. There was barely enough space to walk around the beds. When the heat/fan was turned on, the heating unit was very noisy and the plasticized curtains hanging above in the window were blowing about 23" into the room and adding to the noise and space problems. The room size was what one might expect in Japan, but not in the U.S.
Check-in took a long time because there was only one person at the desk and he was involved with an irate customer over some problem. When we finally did check-in, both my husband and I were asked for a copy of our driver's license! We really didn't appreciate this scruntiny like we were criminals or suspect. There was an armed security guard sitting in the small lobby when we checked in at about 9 P.M. This neighborhood was sketchy!
The young man who checked us in was pleasant, however, which is more than I can say about the woman desk attendant the following morning who was quite grumpy.
Also, the person who was to have breakfast ready was running late so that was also behind schedule.
