Okay, but some problems A review of Crowne Plaza Hotel Houston- Medical Center

We just got back from a 4 night stay. This is my third time staying here over a 15 year span. The hotel is dated, but it still is not that bad. We were there mainly for Astroworld, so the location is ideal. Close enough to walk are you can take the hotel shuttle. Took a cab downtown to a Astros game $17.50 one way. The lobby is very nice when you walk in, but when you start looking around you can see how old the place really is. We stayed in the Ex. Suite that was very large. It had a sitting area, with a wet bar & fridge with bar stools, tiny double beds good for 1 person 69 a night. The toilet had to fixed while we were there and we had 4 people in the room, but the maid would only leave 3 towels, I had to call and get more everyday, that got old. We ate in the restraunt for breakfast 1 morning, it was ok, Shonney's next door half the price. The pool is a basic pool w/kiddy pool lawn chairs, the jazuczi was nice with a water fall. Felt great after walking at Astroworld all day, closes at 10pm. They have a little game room, also small gift shop. This hotel is not to bad if you get a good rate. Email me if you want some more info.
