Ok for the Price A review of Crowne Plaza Hotel Kansas City Downtown
Went to KC for a mini vacation, Didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on a hotel, so went to Priceline. Got a great deal. The receptionist at the front desk when we checked in couldn't have been nicer. When we got in the elevator to go to our room, we noticed that it liked to skip floors even though someone had pushed the button. The carpet was stained. We go to our room on the 22nd floor and housekeeping was still cleaning. It was 7 o'clock on a Friday night, you would think that they'd be done by now. Our room was clean, except for the stained carpets. The room was warm though and we had no washcloths. We tried to call the front desk and the phone wasn't programmed, so my fiance had to go down to the desk. They said they would send someone right up to fix the A/C and bring towels. They both came within 15 minutes, but they had to replace the A/C in our room. I don't know if they just pulled it from another room, but it was loud and clanked on and off throughout the night. The beds were great though. They had the new sleep number beds that you hear about on tv. They were very comfortable. So all in all, if you see a great deal, take it, but don't pay full price for this place!
