OK, but not great A review of BEST WESTERN Stevens Inn
My wife and I ended up here when the hotel where we had a reservation had a hot water heater failure. Because other guests also had to change hotels, our last-minute choice of rooms here was limited, with only smoking king rooms, or non-smoking queen rooms remaining, all of them in the older sections. Jonathan at the front desk was extremely accomodating, letting us see three different rooms to choose from. The room we chose was very large and adequately clean. Although it was toward the front of the property, we heard no road noise. A nice amenity was a computer in the lobby for guest use.
The Flume Restaurant in the hotel is supposed to be one of the best in town and our dinner was excellent, although we thought it was slightly overpriced. The hot buffet breakfast in the restaurant was good, with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, and the standard cereals and breads, and this was complimentary for hotel guests.
We agree with another Trip Advisor writer that the newer section would probably have been nicer, but the great staff, good location and good restaurant make this an acceptable place to stay.
