OK, But a Few Bugs to Work Out A review of Santa Maria Inn

I had a one night stay just to get up early and play a round of golf at Vandenberg the next day. The first room they put me in was in the older part many hallways away from the front desk. I was in there for less then an hour. The toliet tank flapper wouldn't seal so the thing kept running. The front desk said they would call maintenance. Long story short...Maintenance was gone for the day, the receptionist gave me a bigger room over in the renovated side. The room was clean, big, and very nice. The downside--I had to turn on the A/C unit's fan just to drown-out the mainroad's noise. I opened the refridgerator and saw a little roach. BTW, my friend across the hall said she saw a roach too.

I don't think the place is infested it's just when you have room service trays sitting in hallways your bound to have some bugs. I would stay here again. I liked all the history they have displayed in the lobby. The grounds, gardens, and pool looked nice too!
