Not your typical Embassy Suites A review of Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport
Returned yesterday (Thanksgiving day) from spending 3 nights at the Embassy Hotel. I was very disapointed. Hotel needs lots of upgrades starting with the mattress on the beds. The hotel apparently only has heat or air but you can't have both. When we were there our room was very hot but we were told the hotel is only on heat for the cold months, so we were told just to open the balcony door. Well we didn't want to sleep with the door open all night so the room stayed very uncomfortable. One of the two elevators was broken in the foyer so getting to and from our room was very time consuming. Phone also in our room didn't work and the 1st room they put us in smelled with heavy smoke even though we requested a non smoking room. The first night we ordered room service and the food was awful and very expensive. Entire experience was not what I am use to at an Embassy suites. Definetly overpriced.
