Not worth the money! A review of Millennium Bostonian Hotel
Our recent trip to Boston was a gift from my boss for 10 years of work.
He booked the room based on a previous stay several years ago.
Aparently he remembered it in better shape than it was. At first glance from the lobby, we thought this would be a great place to stay. After all, the location was perfect. When we got off of the elevator we were overwhelmed by some horrible stinch and the carpet had ripples in it like a rug that needed straightening. Our room was not what we expected. The carpet was stained. The furniture had stains. The wallpaper was peeling off of the wall. There was hair on the bedspread that was not ours. We had a view of Faneuil Hall which was great the first night, the novelty of it. It was neat to walk out on the balcony to see the excitement. The next couple of nights was not so neat as the partying, sirens and honking drowned out any sense of peace. We also noticed as we were walking back to the hotel that a room a couple of doors down had plywood for doors overlooking the Faneuil Hall. Needless to say we were not impressed and were very upset for my boss at having to pay $320! a night for something that should have cost 59.99! We would highly recommend NOT staying here unless you would like your wallet cleaned out for something that could be compared to Motel 6.
