Not up to par A review of Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza
I booked this room for $70/night on Priceline. This property is not worth any more than that... and their lowest rate is $129.
Rooms were a bit small. We were on the 17th floor, and were disturbed that the windows slid wide open. I guess that's good for people wanting fresh air, but not for a family with 2 small kids. Bathroom had a great deal of mildew on the grout, and the water pressure was EXTREMELY low.
On our last day, we were making in-room coffee, and found not one, but two dirty coffee cups placed there by the maid service the previous afternoon.
Other than that, the rooms were clean, staff was mostly pleasant (although one of the valet attendants gave me a hard time when I arrived).
I'm not sure if I would stay there again, but if I did, I surely wouldn't pay more than the $70/night I paid last weekend.
