Not the ocean view I expected A review of Seaway Inn
We really found ourselves displeased with the overall experience. When making my reservation I had requested the upper floor (because I was told there was a balcony) so I could leave my door open and hear the waves crash.
The balcony was a walk way that you shared with every other guest that had the upper floor and the waves were a quarter mile away. The rooms are very small. We got up the next morning hoping we could enjoy a nice continental breakfast (which was included). I expected some juices, coffee, milk, danish, bagels and creme cheese and maybe some english muffins and jelly. What we found was a small basket with individually wrapped danish (the kind you buy in bulk) and a pitcher of OJ with some plastic wrapped room cups. I was surprised and taken back when I walked in and the owner/manager was sitting in a chair like he was monitoring every danish that left the office. Needless to say my family ended up at jack in the box. The trip was a blast but I would never again choose to stay at the seaway inn.
