Not that sublime thank you A review of Hotel Novotel Praha Wenceslas Square
I believe that all previous reviews have enough info to make a balanced decision but, I believe the phrase "sublime area" is blatantly untrue. I have no comment to make about the rooms/service/cost etc. The hotel is situated 4km or five metro stations from Wenceslas Square (it is built over the "Zelivskeho" station). It is located on a crossroads with bus and tramlines in all directions. It borders a small international bus terminus and two cemetaries. You would have to walk 500 metres to get to the first shop that wasn't selling flowers. It is a hotel with worldwide Novotel standards (except you get bigger rooms i.e. it was not built originally as a Novotel) and that is not in question. The hotel has good public transport connections but, the area is most definitely not "sublime".
