Not many options A review of BEST WESTERN PLUS Ruby's Inn

Okay. These people are raking it in. This is like South of the Border in SC. What a freaking monopoly. They own the town, and they are ripping tourists off like crazy. And you know what, they can! There are no other options. Besides having a faux western "town" across the road, this place is beyond touristy. I counted at least 14 tourist busses. Don't expect many amenities. Expect to empty your wallet. Food was good at Ruby's but pricey. My recommendation is to walk up the road to Ruby's Diner and order a pizza. Overnight accomodations. Forget it. There is a more upscale location across the street but guess what? They own that too. You don't want to miss Bryce Canyon. But I wanted you warned. The park closes their parking lots early, before linch, so the best thing is to get there early. Oh, I forgot to mention, our carpet was soaking wet. They had shampooed them earlier in the day and weren't too concerned that we had to walk around on wet carpets.
