Not impressed A review of Hotel Silken Berlaymont Brussels
I recently stayed at the Dorint for a business trip. Initially i was given a room two floors below the ground floor. the room was dull and dank and when i pulled back the duvet on the bed, the sheet, although look clean, was quite crumpled. I returned to reception to change rooms and was offered a room on the 5th floor. Again, the room was very dull and dark. Although on the surface the room looked clean, on closer expection, i discovered that the bathroom was not cleaned to a good enough standard. I had room service breakfast and again, not impressed. The hotel is owned by the Silken group. I recently stayed at their Bilbao hotel. It was amazing and am, therfore, very disapointed by my experience in their Brussels hotel. Although I found the staff on reception very helpful, I will not be returning.
