Not Impressed A review of BEST WESTERN PREMIER The Central Hotel & Conference Center
When traveling with our children, we will usually ask for a Junior Suite so parents and children have seperate rooms. The Junior Suite we were given was large. The living area had a pull out couch and a 6 person conference table with sliding doors out onto the pool deck. There were french doors adjoing to the king bedroom. The bathroom was terribly small. The adjacent dressing area had very poor lighting and could have used seating. The furniture was newer and was nice looking. The living area was large but dwarfed due to the conference table. The microwave was dirty and the small refridgerator rattled. We asked for a roll away bed and it was brought immediately. It was a comfortable, full size twin. We just slid the conference table against the wall to accomodate the roll away. My largest complaint is that all Suites open onto the pool area. Ours was inconviently located right next to the jaccuzzi on the first floor. Our room reaked of chlorine. After sleeping there our first night we all had red, raw throats in the morning. The staff let me check out suites on the higher floors, but since opening to the pool, all smelled of chlorine. We were then down graded to a standard room with 2 queen beds. Nothing to write home about.
