Not bad A review of Edgewater Hotel & Casino

We stayed at the Edgewater August 7-9, 2003. We had two rooms (adjoining) in the Sedona tower. First of all, the rooms are small and simple. There is no bathtub (only shower) which made it hard with my 1 year old. They only give you a couple towels and when you ask for more they don't want to give them out!! The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. There is no room service. Pool area is okay but very crowded with children. On thursday the hotel was pretty quiet and my husband and I had a nice time in the casino. But friday was a nightmare. It was very very crowded. You couldn't even walk down the halls without being run over by people with luggage/coolers, etc.....

The casino got very busy which made it hard to get a drink. The slots were loose- we actually came out even which is nice. The food at the edgewater buffet is absolutely horrible. The garden cafe is okay, but I highly recommend going to harrahs for meals. I have a free coupon to use in november- January but I will probably pass and stay somewhere else.
