Not bad, but not great A review of Sheraton Brussels Hotel
I stayed at the Sheraton Brussels for one night earlier this month. The location is very convenient and is just a block or two away from the train station/subway. The hotel is located only about a ten minute walk from some of the major tourist attractions in Brussels (i.e. Grand Place, Mannequin Pis) and there are good several restaurants in the area. The hotel itself is an older high-rise building. The lobby is nicely decorated and the public areas appear to have been updated recently. I was upgraded to a Club Level room and, quite honestly, I was disappointed. The room looked like it was decorated in the 1970s and hadn't been touched since. The furniture was old and clearly in need of replacement. The bed was fine, although the sheets looked a little worn too. If this was a Club room, I was wondering what the regular rooms were like. So, the Sheraton is fine if you get a good rate and don't mind staying at a place that is a bit dated. I stayed at the Marriott in Brussels on this trip for just a few dollars more and I would stay there over the Sheraton in a heartbeat.
