Not bad at all A review of Kalaloch Lodge
We stayed in cabin 44 - view with kitchen.
There are two smallish queen sized beds. None of the cabins, apparently, offer a single king.
The carpet is el-cheapo, and shows the burn marks from those unfamilar with lighting fires in the freestanding woodstove. The woodstove is great; one presto log or similar sized hunk of wood heats the place for hours.
The kitchen was really a kitchenette. Very small, but we were able to put together a couple of great meals. Outside there is an overhand big enough to set up a small portable grille - which we did.
The view is nice - but you don't get the crashing waves. The surf is several hundred yards out.
I fully recommend this place - if you take advantage of the off-season rates. Consider some of the cabins that don't have a view. They actually do have a view - and they are about 30% cheaper. Using the map on the web page ----, pick one that you can draw a line from the cabin to the ocean without intersecting a cabin. Viola - you have a view!
