Nostalgic A review of Kaibab Lodge
We stayed at Kaibab Lodge a couple years ago. My husband spent many a summer there when he was a young boy. His aunt was the owner at that time. My husband enjoyed sharing these wonderful times from his boyhood with me and I loved it. While the cabins are VERY rustic (and I'm rather picky), I found it to be just fine. Clean rooms (however the shower water pressure could be improved). The staff was friendly, and we enjoyed not having a TV in the room. We would sit out in the early eveings on our porch and watch the deer grazing in the adjacent meadow -- BEAUTIFUL. Plenty of board games, and TV for children in the main lodge which also has a fireplace, comfortable chairs and tables. The food served there was fine. The price for our room was good! We plan to bring our children and grandchildren sometime in 2004!
