Noisy hotel A review of Hyatt Arlington
My husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hyatt in Arlington. The location was good. Close to Metro stop which was great for sightseeing but I wouldn't stay there again. The rooms were small and very noisy for an upscale hotel. I have had nicer and quieter rooms at a roadside motel. You could hear every noise from the room next door and the street (even though we were on 7th floor), so sleeping was impossible. I had to get up one night and knock on the wall because the people next door were talking at 1 a.m. and it sounded like they were in our room. Every time a door closes in the hall, it reverberates loudly. The restaurant was okay but coffee was about $3.75 for one person. My husband ordered it one morning just for him and they brought a whole carafe. It was too much for one person and most was wasted. I noticed other tables wasted most of the coffee also. Better to serve by the cup and charge and waste less. It was french press but who cares? I just wanted coffee at a reasonable price. Food was good overall for breakfast.
