Noisiest Place Ever... A review of Spyglass Inn

Apparently, if you are in one of the ocean-view rooms in the "front" the Spyglass Inn is a fine place to stay. However, we found it to be an exceptionally noisy facility. The walls have minimal or no sound-proofing and it is as if the folks in the rooms on either side of you are right in your room. We could have carried on conversations with them without any difficulty as if there were no walls. And, when people came out onto the neighboring little proches to use their cellphones, you became an unwilling party to their intimate or business conversations. Late-into-the night porch parties or conversations were something else you unwittingly became a party to. Further, given the configuration of the Inn, most of the rooms open on the parking area and pool area and that leads to a great deal of vehicular and people noise all hours into the night, coupled with a near by service station and Highway 101. All in all, a damn noisy facility.l
