No problems A review of Econo Lodge

For a no-frills room near the Buffalo airport at a no-frills price of $39.95, the Ramada Limited was a good choice. There was no renovation racket like in the older reviews and staff was friendly and welcoming.

Our "business class" room was large and faced away from the highway; it had a small fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, ironing board, hair dryer and sizable TV with cable and movie perks. Continental breakfast was included, but don't get excited, it was coffee and juice in styrofoam cups and marginal Danish pastries. We did not avail ourselves of the indoor pool or airport shuttle service, but both were available and included. Everything worked well -- water pressure, bathroom heat lamp, etc., so all in all while this is not the Ritz by any stretch of the imagination, it was certainly a good value and fit our needs during a recent family visit in Buffalo.
