When attempting to make online reservations at the Springhill suites

in Asheville, we were delivered a system message along the lines of "system having problems, try back later" which we did. On the 3rd attempt, we were given the information that the room we desired was no longer available. Since we still needed reservations, we booked, received a confirmation, and had a nice stay at the residence inn in Biltmore. When we returned from vacation we had a message on the machine saying we had NO SHOWED our reservation!! We were shocked, since we had not known ever that the reservation succeeded. Unknown to us the "system" had booked us 6 times at the original Springhill suite!! This is where the nightmare begins...Springhill charged us for 6 rooms, and is refusing to admit any error could possibly have happened. We have basically

been thrown to the wolves by the online service. Our experience with Marriott's online booking at this point in time is really really scary and costly.
