Nice A review of The Hotel - Brussels

My husband and I stayed one night here. It was our romantic getaway, so we booked an Executive Room (122 euros per night for a couple, not bad at all). Hotel location was very good, only 4 metro stops from the main train station. Shopoholics be aware: this hotel is right next to designer boutiques.

Our private check-in and check-out was on 23d floor. Immediately we were upgraded to a queen executive room. It was clean, comfortable with a huge bed. This room had tea and coffee facility (no cookies though). The bathroom had a separate shower with water massage heads (one "regular" and three on each side). The shower door couldn't properly close though. An unexpected find included a fizzy bath tablet and bath sea salts among shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion bottles.

Breakfast which was served on Executive floor had a generous buffet. In addition, from 10 am untill 10pm we could walk into the Executive Lounge, grab something to eat (fruits and snacks) and drink (beer, sodas, wine and water). In the afternoon, we, after long walks in the city, indulged on free Belgian chocolate and non-chocolate pastries with coffee and tea. Unfortunately, in the evening we could not find any promised canapes. Could it be that they were all eaten before us?!? Doubtfully. Also, shoe-shining service is complimentary for all guests who stay on the Executive floors.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
