Nice view A review of Belhurst - Chambers in the Castle
We celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary by having lunch at the Belhurst Castle. Last year we had stayed overnight at the Castle on our anniversary and had enjoyed it. They have only a buffet lunch and while the food was very adequate the quality was exceedingly mediocre. What was called prime rib couldn't possibly have been that. It might have been round steak..it was tough and not much of any flavor but the mushrooms with it were good. The artichoke soup was also very tasty. It made me really appreciate Thalia of India here in Henrietta. For a couple of dollars less you can get a delicious buffet full of many flavors and even dessert and a wonderful spiced tea. I think the Castle needs a new chef.
We did enjoy Geneva. It is a beautiful area and it is always a pleasure to visit that area.
