Nice Stay A review of Hyatt Regency Sarasota
Stayed at the Hyatt on Boulevard of Arts located in downtown Sarasota from December 23rd 2005 through the 26th. Specifically stayed in room 826. I believe that all even numbered rooms have an unobscured view of Sarasota Bay and the park area in front of the hotel. All uneven numbered rooms have a view of the marina and the pool area. There is ample free parking in an attached parking garage. Valet service is available for around $15 a day but is totally unnecessary. Check-in (and service overall) was friendly and efficient. Hotel was remarkably quiet despite its size. Two restaurants and three bar (one pool bar) areas are part of the hotel. The pool area is very nice for children and adults alike. The rooms are well maintained despite the age of the hotel. Paid $149 a night and it was well worth it. I am a discerning traveler and I can't find one negative thing to say about this hotel.
