This hotel was beautiful, stately, and clean. It truly is located in a terrifc part of town. We booked the all inclusive package which entitled us to dinner, breakfast the next morning and two tickets to the Blackfriars Theatre next door. Don't miss the Blackfriars. It is a spectacular experience and is literally a perfect recreation of Shakespeare's original. With regard to the hotel, the restaurant could have been a bit better. Hot food was lukewarm, mainly due to the use of hotplates and Sternos to keep things warm. The clam chowder was quite good but could have been much hotter. The breakfast buffet was more like what you'd get at a Hampton Inn, not a luxury hotel. The only fresh item was a made-to-order omelet. Everything else looked like packaged food. The kitchen staff also did not replentish things fast enough, such as the bacon tray. Bagels were something that looked like they came from a supermarket. We had expected something a bit more elegant.
