Nice Rooms--Poor Service A review of Willows Lodge

My wife and I recently stayed at the Woodinville Lodge. The rooms are quite nice, but as noted in an earlier post, room temperature control is lacking and we also had to sleep with a sliding glass door partially open to cool the room at night. This while it was snowing outside.

My major complaint is service. While staying at the lodge, my cell phone slipped out of its holster. That led me to discover the black hole that is Lost and Found at the Willows Lodge. According to registration desk staff or anyone else there, only Housekeeping can and will attend to lost and found situations. Problem is, Housekeeping apparently can only be reached by voice mail. I called for several days, and never received a call back. Though I didn't expect a lodge-wide search to be initiated, nor required that my cell phone be found, just a call back after some days that my phone had or had not been turned in would have been appreciated. Finally, though my phone was still dutifully taking calls somewhere in the Willows Lodge, I had to call my cell company to turn it off and to purchase a new cell phone.
