Nice, quiet place A review of Sea Village Resort
We (a party of 3 adults) stayed at Sea Village for one week in August, 2004. We stayed in room 1205 (building 1), which we rented through the internet (Konaweb). The rental process was very efficient, and they sent us very detailed information on how to reach the place from the airport, and all amenities around.
The condo was very spacious; it has two sleeping rooms (one with a queen bed and a smaller one with two separate beds), two bathrooms, one living room with kitchen, and a lanai with oceanside view (great sunsets from there!).
The kitchen was provided with everything you need, including dishwasher. Also, washing machine and drier are available. The only problem were ants, but you get used to them...
Everything was in very good order. Only the wardrobes were a little smelly.
In the common grassy area downstairs there are 4 barbecues. A small pool and hot tub (which we actually did not make use of) are also available.
You get to the town center in 5 minutes by car; we had no problems with parking. However, when we tried to get to the town center in the morning between 9 and 11, we got trapped in a 20-minute queue (but this might have due to street repairs in that period).
We found this place to be a lovely one; the condo rates were also very reasonable. We would certainly recommend it to other people.
