Nice property, but staff needs training A review of Salish Lodge & Spa
AVOID ROOM 312! I tend to agree about the nonresponsive staff. I booked a room well in advance and was assured every room had a two person jacuzzi tub. It was a special occasion for me and my loved one (Birthday AND Anniversery). Room 312 is a handicapp room with no tub, just a huge shower with a handicapp chair!
First of all the front desk clerk should have forewarned me of such, but she did not. When I complained and try to change rooms they were not accomodating. I was told this was the only room available and that I could switch tomorrow. A major inconvienence and a major dissapointment. They offered me some "sparkling wine", not much use to a recovering alchoholic. Oh, they were kind enough to knock off $30.00 a night for the inconvienence, big deal. And guess what, I am travel agent (for 20 yrs now). I must say the lodge itself is very nice and well appointed. The staff needs some major training in customer service.
