Nice place A review of Super 8 Baker City
The accommodations were very adequate and clean. My husband is in a wheelchair so we requested an accessible room. It was very large with a huge bathroom, including a roll-in shower, which can be hard to find. Everything was comfortable. My only complaint is that the day we arrived, Baker City had just announced that they suspected cryptosporidium in the water and advised everyone to not drink the water or use it for toothbrushing, washing dishes, etc.. I feel back for the hotels and restaurants in town which are really screwed. We opted to stay at the Super 8 anyway since it was an hour to the next town with a hotel on our way. But the management at the Super 8 was only giving guests one small bottle of water per room and would not give us anymore, even though there were 4 people in our family. They did have larger bottled water supplies in the lobby and told us we could fill our water bottles from there anytime, but it was very inconvenient. I just didn't like the stinginess of management and the owners in that situation. Otherwise, everything was great. Good value.
