Nice Hotel. A review of Hyatt Regency Jersey City

Me and my family stayed at this hotel in December of 2003. Hotel is only a few years old so everything was nice and clean. Bathroom was clean and furnishing was nicely done. We got one room on the first floor and the other on second because we needed one smoking room. Both room had the view of NYC so that was really nice....I would imagine that it'd be even nicer if you get a room on the higher floor. We were kind of surprised to have to take the elevator down to get to our room (front desk is on the third floor) but since we paid really cheap for these rooms, we didn't mind too much. The other nice thing about this hotel was that it's literally about 10 steps away from train station that takes you to NYC. You get on and the next stop is World Trade Center. Valet parking was $30.00 per night for hotel guest. We ate breakfast buffet at the restaurant called Vu. It was cheaper than most other hotel breakfast buffet I've been to but it was pretty good. I think you can get a better view of NYC from this hotel than the hotels actually in NYC. We wanted to go see the Statue of Liberty and hotel gave us a free ride to ferry station so we didn't have to drive around looking for it so that was nice. I would recommend this hotel to people who travel to NYC.
