Nice but.... A review of Radisson Blu EU Hotel, Brussels

In Aug 2006, we booked our room at the SAS EU through We requested a room for 3 people and received a confirmation, even showing no additional charge for the 3rd person.

We arrived at the hotel and they would not allow a 3rd person in the room, they told us all the roll away beds were in use, hard to believe in a large business hotel. We showed our written confirmation, the hotel mgr. insisted that all internet bookings are on a, as available basis for anything other than the room.

We had no choice but to book another room there, no special rate.

The hotel itself was very modern, newer and nice. Restaurant and bar limited in their offerings. The surrounding area is lacking in much in terms of shopping, dining. There is a square with a couple of restaurants and a decent Indian restaurant across the street, that's about it.

The room was very nice, service other than honoring the reservation was good. Next time in Brussels, something closer to the Grand Place area.
