Nice and quite, not too far from the town A review of Golden Tulip De'Medici Hotel

It was OK. We stayed on our way back from Germany and Luxembourg. Our room was the smallest out of the 3 hotels we stayed in on our trip but there was nothing wrong with it. The bathroom was very modern but why they bother to put in double wash basins is beyond me. Who wants their partner washing their bits next to you ;-). Our room overlooked the 'Japanese garden' and the air conditioning worked a treat. Couldn't have the window open because it's mosquito time!! The hotel is near the most beautiful church and not too far a walk to the main square. Dinner in the town was very very expensive 90 euros for two. Nice food though. The hotel has it's own Japanses restaurant and if we'd been staying more than one night would have eaten there but we wanted to taste the local food. The bar was very accommodating with a TV for the football fans and all the staff were very polite but not as friendly as we found in the other two cities. We had a very good rate and as I always recommend, try booking direct with the hotel, it's often the cheapest option. Enjoy your stay
