New Fairfield Inn OK A review of Fairfield Inn & Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront
We spent 9/8-11/2004 at the new Fairfield Inn at 19th & Atlantic, Virginia Beach.
We checked in on the first day they were open,
their grand opening day.
It was nice to be the first ones in the room, so we knew everything was clean. We were there for the Mid-Atlantic Shrine Convention and our group had 70 rooms there. The management went out of their way to take care of any needs we had when we had our socials there. The complimentary breakfast was nice.
The problems we ran into: the maid service in our room was very late each day, usually aound 4:30. Also, they only have 2 elevators for 9 floors and 1 of the elevators was usually out of service. These may just be bugs that will be worked out in a new place with newly trained help. Rooms were nice, with refrigerator in cabinet under TV and oceanfront balcony. We would stay there again, although it was a little expensive for after the season.
