Never Again! A review of Holiday Inn Bar Harbor Regency

To summarize our stay: We made reservations 2 months in advance. When we got there, they didn't have our room and they were unwilling to work with us to solve the problem. The front desk is absolutely horrible, including the managers. The halls and rooms are a bit run down for the price, the hot tub was out of order and there was duck tape holding on some outter door handles. The staff was extremely rude, condesending and liars. We reported the hotel to their parent company and explained - with specific names and details - and they did apologize and make an effort to win back our loyalty.

Because we were there over the 4th of July holiday, we were forced to stay 2 nights because no other hotels had rooms available. We did move to the ATLANTIC EYRIE LODGE - the people were great, the view awesome and it was very relaxing.
