My stay was great! A review of Hilton Arlington

In March I accompanied our seniro high school band on a trip to Washington, DC. I has stayed at the Hilton on Connecticut in the DC area before and was expecting to share a small room with 3 other women.

I very pleasantly surprised to find a fairly good sized room and bathroom. The four of us had no problem moving around the room. As part of the tour deal, the hotel provided breakfast buffet every morning which was very good---eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and toast. One of our members asked i f we could have some fruit with breakfast which we did a few mornings minus the bacon and sausage. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The adjoining mall and businesses were very nice to have, especially when taking teenagers shopping. I know that sometimes the kids did get a little loud but the staff never seemed to get bent out of shape. If there was a problem, they talked to the band director who then corrected the problem. One drawback was the fact that there were only 2 small elevators which we had to use to get to our rooms. Often times, we would have to wait about 5-10 minutes to get to our rooms. There were stairs, but they were only to be used in case of fire. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Washington, DC-Arlington area.
