Modern, Luxurious, and Safe/Secure. A review of Hilton Morumbi Sao Paulo
As far as hotel facilities alone go, this ranks up there as one of my favorite Hiltons in the world. It is big and open and looks luxurious. As a diamond hhonors member, I received an upgraded room with a view over the city, a complimentary box of chocolates and wine, and access to the lounge. The room and bathroom were very modern. There was a nice large working desk that can see the TV, and high-speed Internet was available for a fee. The bar was always full of people, the staff spoke good English, and with the US exchange rate, almost everything is atleast moderately affordable.
The hotel has a small shopping center underneath, and is also within short walking distance (2-3 minutes) of a larger shopping area with some restaurants. Security was constant around the building (on motorcycles, on foot, etc.), and much of the area was secured with barricades. I felt very safe. I didn't have time for any "sight-seeing", so I can't comment on the location itself, but I didn't see much from the hotel that could have interested me.
Anyhow, a great hotel.
