Mixed Review A review of Radisson Hotel Valley Forge
Just came back from a long weekend trip to Valley Forge area. Planned this trip to celebrate my wife's birthday. The Radisson hotel itself was a very clear, bright and inviting space.
But I do have two complaints. First, we booked a package, which include the dinner show. "The show is great and the staff there are more than accommodating. It was well worth it." The problem lies in that dinner starts at 4:00. Mind you I had already confirmed with the hotel that we would be there around 2:30 and would like to check in. We arrive at the hotel at 3:00 anticipating an opportunity to freshen up and changing clothes prior to dinner. Well sorry the room is not ready. After some "empathetic" actions we were able to check in. Second, the "Fantasy Suite" was not worth what they charge. The room needed a face-lift. The carpet was grungy and worn. There were open spaces were electrical receptacles and/or light fixtures were missing. This room had no windows and the toilet was a very slow flush. By the way these suites are on the 15th floor of the hotel. To get there you take the elevator to the 14th the walk up a flight and a half.
So in conclusion, I would give this hotel another try but not a suite.
The "Fantasy Suites" are a cheesy decorated overpriced nightmare.
