Lovely Hotel A review of Panorama Hotel Prague
I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend in April 2005. My Mum is originally Czech and me and my parents, sister and boyfriend were travelling over for a long weekend away because we arranged a suprise party for my Nan. For a bit of privacy me and my boyfriend chose to opt out of staying at relatives and stayed at this 4 star Corinithia Panorama instead.
We opted for a special 'Romance Package' which I highly recommend. The package included private car transfer from and to the airport, a bottle of bubbly chilled and ready in the room, a romantic dinner and an upgrade executive room.
I can't fault the hotel. It was a pleasant lovely stay. Our executive room had a lovely view across Prague, was clean, spacious, had bathrobes and the bathroom was lovely- just adequate and clean. Being a real dolly I love my bathrooms and I always fear not having a bathroom that is up to scratch in hotels but I cannot fault this one- highly adequate and clean.
One morning when we missed breakfast (after a night out in the city with my cousin and her other half!) we called for room service who brang breakfast up to us on trays- we had more than we could wish for and they were beautifully presented! Bliss!!
The pool, sauna, steam, jacuzzi and gym are all located on the top floor and what a view!! It's gorgeous!! As part of our package we also got our entrance free and it was really lovely.
There is also a choice of restaurants to eat within and the surroundings are pleasant. The hotel car service is good but the nearest tube is only a few minutes- no more than 3 or 4 away and to the local city centre is only a few stops so very convenient location if you like to be 'within reach' of the city and have it very close but just far enough to be able to enjoy being just that little bit located outside.
I have to say I can't fault the hotel- we will be returning. Unfortunately, I don't think this great package is running anymore and we may not get as great a deal but the hotel is brilliant and I highly recommend it- the sister hotel Corinithia Towers is the 5 star of the two and I would be quite interested in staying there one time too because the 4 star was so pleasant.
I recommend this hotel very much.
