Lovely and Quaint A review of Ca' San Rocco

My husband and I stayed at Ca'San Rocco for 3 nights. The walk from the hotel to the train station was about 10 minutes and the directions offered on the hotel's website were accurate and clear.

The room at Ca'San Rocco was the nicest and largest room we experienced on our 2-week trip through France, Italy and Austria. The bed was large and comfy, and the bathroom was IMMACULATE! The tub was big enough for a bubble bath and the towel warmer was a nice touch we certainly didn't expect! We had a small balcony off our bedroom, and on Easter Sunday morning, we opened it so we could hear the bells ringing all over Venice. It was lovely!

This hotel isn't in a touristy area, so it was quiet at night and away from the hustle and bustle of St. Mark's Square, etc. I'd say the hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from St. Mark's but we were really glad to "get away" every night to our cozy hotel. The walk to the Rialtto and St. Marks is fun and full of shops, vendors and gellato stands! We LOVED IT!

The breakfast at the hotel was tasty and the staff were very nice and accomodating to our needs. My husband says he's never going back to Venice. He says there were too many tourists...It WAS Easter weekend!! BUT he would (and I would too) recommend this delightful and charming hotel to anyone traveling to Venice.
