Loved the Blue Harbor A review of Blue Harbor Resort
We stayed at the Blue Harbor in July, 2004. It was very nice, The kids aquarium room had a nice queen size bed, a pull out sofa and an alcove with bunk beds and a seperate TV. Only complaint about the room, no sheets on the bunks and my son ended up on the plastic covered mattress. We ate at the Main restuarant twice. Dinner buffet and breakfast buffet. Out waitress was Katherine, she was great. Everone in the place asked us how our stay was and made us feel very welcome. The waterpark is designed for smaller children, there aren't many height restrictions. 42" without adult, no restriction for child with Adult for the slides, there is a lazy river, LARGE jacuzzi, swimming pool with some toys for the kids to climb on. As far as Lake Michigan, unfortunately it is dirty, we noticed that in Port Washington too. Lots of Algae growing, but that's not the resorts fault. It's nice to look out your window anyhow if you have the lakeview. They have a midweek afternoon 3-10pm pass if you just want to use the waterpark for $12.00 Great deal if your local. Overall, it was probably the highlight of our trip to see the grandparents. That and the Maritime Museum in Manitowoc....But that's another story!
