Loved it!!! A review of Grand Traverse Resort and Spa
I visited the resort over the Memorial Day weekend and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The room was beautiful. My 7 and 11 year old boys enjoyed swimming, tennis (for a fee), playing games in the arcade, ping pong, the hot tub and the sauna. We were having so much fun that we forgot about dinner. After the spa closed at 10 p.m. on Sunday, we had dinner in Jack's lounge consisting of a "Bear burger", chicken quesadillas and salad. The kids could get popcorn from the popcorn stand for a dollar. Everything was fresh and delicious. I couldn't have had a better experience. One thing, even though we had a non-smoking room, smoking was allowed in the lounge area near the elevators. It sickened me to have to walk through it in order to get on the elevator. I would change that.
