Loved it All!! A review of Red Mountain Resort
After reading some of the reviews here, I felt compelled to write about my experience at Red Mountain Spa. I stayed in a standard king room for 5 nights, 6 days. The room I booked was the cheapest they had, and I thought it was beautiful. I had a private bathroom with marble floors, a king sized bed, and a heating lamp right next to and above the shower, so I would not be cold when I came out of the shower.
What impressed me most was the staff at Red Mountain. They were all EXTREMELY helpful and super sweet. Whenever I had a question, they ALWAYS responded quickly, and bent over backwards to make sure I was happy. All of the hikes were amazing. I did the trekker 2 hikes, and fell behind a few times (I was not used to the altitude). The guides stayed with me, and let me take pictures and enjoy the breathtaking views around me.
The food was awesome. I thought that it would be really horrible, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was impressed by all of the choices that we had at every meal.
The spa was on the small side, but they are building a brand new spa facility which should be there in a year or so. But, DON'T let that stop you from going NOW. I received a different treatment each day I was there. All of the treatments were amazing!! Especially the fire and Ice facial with Cari; the LaStone treatment with Dedy; Massages with Cynthia; and the RM Revitalizer with Larry.
The classes were incredible, and the instructors were more than knowlegable. The best money I spent was on the personal training session with Eric, a nutritional consult with Dr. Ralph. I want to go back every year!!
